Anycast ("we", "our", "us") is a product of ExCom.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services at anycast.excom.ai and related applications.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from the identity provider. We do not receive or store your password.

Messages and Content: Messages you send in workspaces, files you upload, and content generated by the AI assistant are stored on our servers to provide the service.

Usage Data: We track message counts per workspace for billing and plan enforcement. We log basic request metadata (timestamps, response times) for service monitoring.

Workspace Data: Files, documents, and data created within your workspace are stored in isolated containers. Each workspace is separated from other workspaces.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the Anycast service
To authenticate your identity and manage workspace access
To process your messages through the AI assistant
To store and deliver files and documents you create
To enforce usage limits based on your subscription plan
To monitor service health and performance
To communicate with you about your account or service updates

3. AI Processing

Messages sent to the AI assistant are processed by Claude (Anthropic). Your messages are used to generate responses in real-time. We do not use your messages to train AI models. Each workspace has an isolated AI session — conversations in one workspace are not visible to other workspaces.

4. Data Isolation

Each workspace runs in an isolated container with its own:

File storage and workspace
AI conversation memory
Credentials and API keys you provide

Data from one workspace is never shared with or accessible to another workspace.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure. We implement the following security measures:

Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
Container isolation between workspaces
JWT-based authentication for API access
OAuth 2.0 for identity verification
Daily automated backups

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these circumstances:

AI Processing: Messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for response generation
Authentication: We use Google and Microsoft OAuth for sign-in
Infrastructure: Data is hosted on Google Cloud Platform
Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion:

Your account data will be deleted within 30 days
Workspace data (files, messages, AI memory) will be permanently removed
Backups containing your data will be purged within 7 days

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of your personal data
Correction: Update or correct your account information
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
Export: Download your workspace data
Restriction: Request limitation of data processing

9. Cookies

We use localStorage (not cookies) to store your authentication token and preferences. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

10. Children's Privacy

Anycast is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the application or email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
